Ingredients

1 Large Red Onion

½ Cup Apple Cider Vinegar

¼ Cup Sugar

½ Tbsp Salt

¼ Cup fresh Lemon Juice

Pinch of Crushed Red Pepper
Directions
Slice Red Onion and put into a bowl
Blanch onion slices by pouring boiling water over them until covered and let them sit for 15 seconds.
Drain the water from the bowl.
In a medium saucepan, boil the vinegar, salt, red pepper, and lemon juice for three minutes, or until the sugar dissolves.
Pour over onion slices.
Let onions sit until they reach room temperature.
Cover and refrigerate the onions for up to two weeks.
Serve over your favorite Fertile Acreage Brats
